I stayed there for the first time and my lover has been there several times and we had a blast. No pun intended. It was a great place to spend some time with the one you love an have the freedom to show it. Will be back ASAP.

my lover and i stayed at the longfork camp grounds last weekend and we had a wonderful time , thanks to everyone at the resort for making our stay a delight.;)

I visited Long Fork camp grounds on May 31 09 . They have a very nice thing going on there . The owners made me feel right at home . Everyone was very friendly and a place where you can be yourself without people looking down at you . I will visit them again every free weekend I have off . It's just a very very nice place .

:-(This recent stay at Longfork turned out quite horrid, I'm afraid. I used to love coming here, but things have changed. The pool was dirty, the meadow hadn't been moved at all, the crowd didn't socialize with new quests, and what was up with the damn chihuahuas in the pool area? This is no longer a campground, it's just another gay bar.

hey jon the only person who is a shady person is u it's not a whore house it's just a place where grown men can do what they want , within reason.maybe it sounds like ur not comfortable with ur own sexualty u may even want to grow up a little more .... everyone else at longfork , everything is great;);)

I was there this past weekend and had a fantastic time. Dogs by the pool and all. Everyone I met seem to be enjoying themselves. Unless you were the few who stayed to your own little group. My lover and I had a great time will be back.

i was visiting from boston this past weekend with a friend. it was my 2nd time there. i've had a good time both times i was there. nice people. good staff. i hope to come back when i'm in town again.

made a weekday over night stop on a recent road trip and had a great time. Staff was friendly and helpful, my cabin was clean and neat...the hillside setting was fun,and has huge potential which is being developed weekly. Bring hiking boots, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.:)

I was there last Wednesday for my 1st visit. Took a tour of grounds and pool area. Everyone was super nice. Hope to start hanging out there on my days offs.

I have a permanent spot,#1, and am sorry that all the hateful comments were made on here, I layed by the pool beside Don, gave a greeting when he arrived and really considdered him quite un-approachable,along with his younger friend. Longfork is a place where a gay man can be himself, wheter it be a slut,a drinker, smoker or what ever as long as it dosen't infringe on others good time. Longfork is not a place for prudish men or men who have reformed themselves and try to reform others. And btw, most of the chihuahua's were Joe and mine. It is a place where they are welcome also,:)

i have been to longfork on 2 different occasions this year...the work that the guys are doing there is tremendous!!!!..it was very nice both times...i live in sc, and its a 6 hour trip...but very much worth it. i have stayed with a resident there both times...but i plan to come and ren a cabin sometime..Great job guys..highly recomended

Everytime I have been there it was a blast. Everyone there goes out of their way to make guests feel special..and I msut say I more than felt SPECIAL...:)

I have been visiting Longfork for three summers now and everytime I go I have a wonderful time. The staff goes out of their way to make sure things are as they should be. The pot luck dinners and Sunday brunche are very enjoyable If I were not 6 hours away, I'd be there every weekend taking in the sun, relaxation, comrodery, enjoying the sights of hot nekked men, the and playing with the chihuahuas by the pool and if the oportunity RISES, I'd most definetly be my wonderful slutty self! :) Hats off to Steve and all the hot people who work there! You make me feel at home and each time I leave a tear comes to my eyes for I feel I am leaving my family. I love you guys! For the folks who find the need for negativity, I feel sorry for you. You must be miserable with your life and there is no need to share it with the rest of us. Perhaps in time you will grow up.

My partener and I went to Long Fork last June for the first time and had a fantastic weekend! We are going again for the LFC Bear contest and can't wait to meet everyone and see the new additions!

The place used to be nice, and we used to love coming there. However, the place seemed dirty the last time we were there, and not like it was in the good ol days.

I was there for the 4th! It was a great place to relax! The meadows was awesome but i either need a bigger tent or a cabin! lol I am trying to figure out when to go back. I'd like a swimming hole better then a pool but that' sjust me.lol

What I want to know is this: If something was not to your liking as in cleanliness, why did you not say something??? Why write something months if not years later to try and trash the Campground? This is the only safe haven for Gay men around that you feel comfortable and liked. I think it is so sad that things have to go on like they do. Who comes back to a website of a place that you did not like when a general discussion of this type is happening? Someone trying to make trouble!!! I love it there, never change LongFork!!!!!

To the A__ Holes that do not find "Longfork" up to your standards, why don't you go to the Hilton Hotel and let them kiss you Ass.... Your at a camp ground and things happen!! Steve, Tony, Joe and the rest of the staff at the grounds are the most caring and tolerable loving people that we both as a couple (LOVERS) have come to know... Why don't you just keep going to your bars, because that where you belong, and don't forget to hand out in the bars super clean bathroom,s you self centered A__ Hole......:P:o:(

Went there from NC to Bearpalooza and had a great time myself. Enough company around if you felt social or enough isolation if you wanted to be by yourself for awhile. Staff I felt did their best to make all comfortable. There did seem to be a water shortage but not a major deal in my book. You are camping so deal with it. It is all what you make of it I reckon. The guys who hosted the event 495 Bears by far some of the greatest I have ever met.

Just wanted to say that I love the new additions to Long Fork! The Castaway Lounge and cabins were even better than I expected! Keep up the great work!!!!

Had an absolutely wonderful relaxing weekend on July 4th and enjoyed Steve and Tony's hospita;ity! :)

We visited after seeing your ad in Out newspaper and did not know what to expect. To our delight, you guys gave us a hell of a good time. The place is very nice and "some guys" were OK with NO, and the "yes" guys were very hot! We have been to Camp Davis, Roseland and Circle JJ and are glad we now have another camp ground to visit. Thanks guyz!:P

:) We love Long Fork. What a great place to camp, have fun and just relax and enjoy ourselves. Those negative folks need to stay home. I have always found everyone here very friendly. We love Steve and Toni and what they have made possible for the gay community. Hats off to you both. This is a great place. We will definitely continue to come here. Summer has come to an end and so does our stay at Long Fork. We wanted to thank everyone for a Fab summer stay. Thanks to the Long Fork staff, the people we saw every weekend and the people we met for the first time. You all made this one of the best summers we have had in a long time. We look forward to our spring return for another fun filled summer at, in the words of a GREAT MAN at LONG FORK, "GAY CAMP". THANKS EVERYONE:)
